Paintings

All compositions are made up of lines, shapes, tones, textures and colours. Sometimes lines act as boundaries which contain the other elements. They can also be submerged and barely visible acting as a vague skeleton on which the other elements hang or drift loosely. In some areas the colours dominate, occasionally overlapping or overwhelming each other. Sometimes clearly defined shapes occur but some shapes are distorted, lost or submerged by the other elements.
